History

Sir Stamford Raffles proposed the establishment of a College that would provide educational and research facilities.

 

 

1905
History

Founding of The Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School.

The School was renamed King Edward VII Medical School in 1913. It was the first institution of higher learning in Singapore.

It was later renamed King Edward VII College of Medicine in 1921.
