Policy Governing the Use of Human Subjects in Research and Teaching

All research and teaching activities that involve human subjects and are conducted at or sponsored by the University shall adhere to the following:

  1. The ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki (1987);


  2. The Bioethics Advisory Committee - Research involving Human Subjects (November 2004)


  3. The Bioethics Advisory Committee - Personal Information in Biomedical Research (May 2007)


  4. The Bioethics Advisory Committee - Genetic Testing Genetic Research (November 2005)


  5. The Bioethics Advisory Committee - Ethical, Legal and Social Issues in Human Stem Cell Research, Reproductive and Therapeutic Cloning (June 2002)
