Bachelor's Academic Dress
The Academic Dress for the Bachelor’s degree comprises the gown in dark blue (for all except Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Dental Surgery which has crimson front panels), mortarboard and hood.
The distinguishing feature of the Bachelor’s Gown is the long, pointed sleeves. The gown is made using polyester fabric for easy maintenance.
In addition, the precision fluting around the shoulders and back create a smooth elegant flow. The colour of the satin lining of the hood corresponds with the field of study. The model in our picture wears the traditional mortarboard that comes with a black tassel.

Master's Academic Dress
The Academic Dress for the Master’s degree comprises the gown in dark blue, mortarboard and hood.
The Master’s Gown is made using polyester fabric for easy care and maintenance. The gown is easily identifiable by its distinctive elongated sleeves. It has twin front pleats to allow for movement and a pocket on the right. The colour of the satin lining of the hood corresponds with the field of study. The model shown here wears the traditional mortarboard with its black tassel.
The Gown for the Master of Medicine and Master of Dental Surgery is dark blue with crimson and Russett-brown satin bell sleeves and front panels respectively.

Doctoral Academic Dress
The Academic Dress for the Doctoral degrees comprises the gown, bonnet, hood and tassel.
Elegant with long, stately flowing lines, the Gown is distinctively blue with rich green satin bell sleeves and front panels. Fine hand-made pleating frame the shoulders and the back yoke of the gown. The hood is trimmed with satin in a colour that corresponds with the field of study. The bonnet, in velvet or cotton, has a tassel. The model wears the Academic Dress for Doctor of Philosophy from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
The Doctor of Pharmacy Gown is maroon in colour and in similar style but has lilac bell satin sleeves and front panels.
The Doctor of Medicine Gown is also maroon in colour and in similar style but has crimson satin bell sleeves and front panels.
This stately and graceful Gown is made to last and is most appropriate for ceremonial occasions at the University.
