Placing an Order

  1. A deposit of S$50 is required at time of placing an order for the notebook. The deposit will not be refunded if cancellation of order or change of notebook model takes place 1 business day after date of order. (Eg. Order made on 27 Jul 09, but cancel on 29 Jul 09, no refund will be made).

  2. Loan processing (or submission) starts from 29-Jul-09 onwards.

  3. Second purchase will start from 1-Sep-09.

  4. Collect Notebooks at ITCoop@YIH.

  5. For cash-and-carry, you may pay by cash, cheque or NETS (up to S$2,000).

  6. Hitachi Loan at ITCoop@YIH.

  7. Student must first be matriculated and then he/she can place a notebook order with IT Co-op before booking online an appointment for processing loan submission.

  8. Students are required to walk into IT Co-op to book appointment after 13-Aug-09.

How To Apply For Financial Assistance

  1. For NUS interest-free loan, go to the website. If you are prompted to login, type "nusstu\xxxxx" in the Name box and your NUSNET password in order to go to the next page. Replace "xxxxx" with your userid. Example: Your userid is u050123, so you should type "nusstu\u050123". The quotes should not typed in.

  2. For Vendor's Finance Lease Plan, complete the respective vendor's Finance Lease Form and Direct Debit Authorization Form. These are available at the NUS Co-op Notebook Centre.

  3. Book an appointment time slot at Website. If you are prompted to login for Name and password, do as what is stated earlier. Booking starts on 25-Jul-09 to 12-Aug-09. From 13-Aug-09, please go to ITCoop@YIH for appointment booking.

  4. Submit the "NUS Student Notebook Computer Loan Agreement and Loan Form", (will be printed by the ITCoop Staff), and together with the original documents (NRIC, Passport, Visitor/Student Passes, and matriculation card) to IT Coop@YIH by appointment. Your guarantor must be present to sign the documents and witnessed by the NUS Co-op staff.
