NUSNET Password Guide
If you are unable to login to various NUS websites that requires your NUSNET Userid and Password
Visit and login to Outlook Web Access (https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/) to check if it is due to password expiry.
If your password has expired (password age more than 180 days)
You will automatically be prompted to change for your password in Outlook Web Access or domain login if it
has expired. Please click here for instructions on how to change your password.

Guide to changing your NUSNET Password
Requirements for the new password:

Make sure that you have the combinations of an alphabet (abc), a number (123) and a symbol (!*#@) - for examples, Blu3@143, MyPa55w0rd, H3ll9.W0rld!
At least 8 characters in length.
You cannot use your NUSNET ID or any word from your display name in your password.
You cannot change your password more than once in a day.
Once changed successfully, the new password will expire in 180 days. |
Method 1 - Changing your password from Outlook Web Access

1. Visit https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/.
2. Select Change NUSNET Password.
Type in your details as required on the screen:
Domain:
NUSSTF for Staff
NUSSTU for Student
Leave this field blank for NUHS Staff
User ID: Your NUSNET User ID

Method 2 - Changing your password using Ctrl + Alt + Delete

Note: To use this method, your desktop computer/laptop should be using Windows, connected to the NUS Network and joined to the NUSSTF/NUSSTU domain. For Macintosh and Linux users, please use Method 1 instead to change your password.
1. From your keyboard, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete
2. For Windows XP, click on Change Password

- For Windows 7 / Vista, click on Change a password

3. Type in your details as required. Follow the same requirements in changing the password.
- For Windows XP, enter your NUSNET UserID, domain, followed by your old password and new password.

- For Windows 7 / Vista, enter domain\NUSNET UserID, followed by your old password and new password.
- For example, if you are a student and your NUSNET UserID is a0012345, enter nusstu\a0012345.
- And for example, if you are a staff and your NUSNET UserID is ccexxx, enter nusstf\ccexxx.
