How can I check the mails in my subfolder without going through the main "Inbox" page?
You can create a short-cut on your desktop with the url pointing to various folders that can be found in your mailbox, eg. calendar, contacts,
"things-to-be-done" sub folder etc etc depending on the hierachy of your mailbox.
Some typical URLs you can have are
https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/exchange/<exchange userid>/drafts
https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/exchange/<exchange userid>/outbox
https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/exchange/<exchange userid>/calendar
https://exchange.nus.edu.sg/exchange/<exchange userid>/inbox/things-to-be-done
WebMail allows you access to any folder via URL. All folders and even messages are now addressable via URL. Some additional example

Overcoming the Slow Network Link
WebMail provides a similar look and feel to Outlook. However, it can be slow if you are accessing WebMail from a slow link.
There is an option available when you access WebMail with Internet Explorer 6 or above:
With Premium, you enjoy the full richness of WebMail such as:
- drag-and-drop items
- new mail notification
- improved calendar printing
- advanced calendar controls with multi-day select
- keyboard controls, e.g. using <DEL> key to delete mails
However the richness of the features will slow down the browsing experience tremendously if you are connected
via a slow network link.
If Basic is chosen, the browsing experience may be significantly hastened, but you will be greeted with
a plain and simple interface. You can only send out mails in plain text format.
Note that if the browser used is not Internet Explorer 6 or above (eg. if Mozilla Firefox is used), this option
will not be available and a Basic user interface will be presented.
