Application Systems Request

Requests for development of new application systems may be submitted by sending the completed application request form to after seeking approval / funding from respective management.

Application Systems Standards

For projects that are approved, access to the following set of shared components, guidelines for development and deployment, and data administration standards will be made available. Developers are required to reuse these components and adopt the guidelines and standards provided.

1. Reusable Shared Components
2. Java development guide
3. Java deployment guide
4. .NET deployment guide
5. Data administration standards (data item standards, standard abbreviations, data dictionary and common code tables)

In addition, all developers are reminded to abide by the NUS Data Management Policy (DMP) and NUS IT Security Policy pertaining to data stewardship and IT security. These policies are available under the Policies & Guidelines tab of the Staff Portal.
