How Is Live Meeting Different From Office Communicator 2007?
- Permissions - Live Meeting has more granular permission settings including delegation of presentators as well as editing of documents. Office Communicator only allows sharing of the entire desktop which may not be desirable in some situations.
- Recording - Office Communicator 2007 does not support recording for later viewing.
- Style - Live Meeting is suitable for 1-to-many style of board-room meetings with specific participants designated as presentors. Office Communicator is suitable for a quick many-to-many video/audio discussions without the need to work on any documents.
