boul.e.vard (abbr.: blvd) With the definition of boulevard in mind, NUS Boulevart was formed to serve as an inroad to the arts for the NUS community. It officially became a group under NUS Museum, NUS Centre For the Arts (CFA) in May 2008. Students can participate by organizing activities in relation to the visual arts, becoming docents at NUS Museum as well as receiving and coordinating art appreciation classes. Boulevart also merges an interest in art with volunteerism through the sharing of art with schoolgoing children. Through such activities, members are exposed to a range of artworks and in the process learn how to better appreciate art. NUS Boulevart welcomes anyone with an interest in art. Boulevart- an avenue to the arts. |
