Foo Tiang Khuen JuanPrincipal Tutor
Juan Foo has been in the Singapore film industry since its resurgence in the early 90s. He is one of the few who can trace the ups and downs of the fledging media industry and has been involved in up to seven films to date. His cumulative network within the community has given him the attribute of being the referral point for the industry.
Juan is one of the few producers who have made motion pictures on various formats ranging from digital video, HD and film. His development work has seen him incubate film projects through international film platforms such as the 'Asia-Europe Coproduction Meeting' 'Hubert Bals Award' and 'Produire Au Sud' ; giving him a broad perspective on the cinema and television content market.
Continuing his interest to nurture and open doors for new film and media practitioners, Juan is also an academic board member of the Singapore Media Academy (SMA) and sits on the programme advisory panel for the Multimedia Technology & Design programme at UniSIM.
