Principal Tutor

Benjamin Ang first joined the NUS Electronic Music Lab (EML) as a student member while pursuing his undergraduate studies at the NUS law school. He was appointed the tutor of the EML in 1999 and principal tutor in 2001. A member of SEAMUS (Society for Electro Acoustic Musicians, US), Benjamin studied electronic music at the Boston University School for the Arts.
Benjamin's publications include Electronic Music at the Turn of the Century, which was presented at the Southeast Asia First Conference on Music Technology, Kuala Lumpur in 2000.   He is also a composer and performer of electronic music.
