Peter Sau
With 10 years of English and Mandarin theatre experience, Peter is one of the pioneer graduates from renowned theatre doyen of Singapore, Kuo Pao Kun's "Theatre Training & Research Programme, and is trained in Asian classical performing art forms including Beijing Opera (China), Wayang Wong (Indonesia), Noh (Japan) and Bharata Natyam (India), as well as Western contemporary theatre systems. He works closely with Singapore's The Necessary Stage, and have toured many international festivals with them, including Talk – 2000 Macau Arts Fringe Festival, Godeatgod – 2005 Romania Sibiu International Theatre Festival, 2006 Hong Kong Fringe Club City Festival, and 2006 Hungary Sziget Festival, as well as forum theatre play Let Me Go! that toured to many universities in India New Delhi.

He has also performed in Day I Met The Prince for Ex-Theatre Asia (Taiwan) that showcased at Asian Contemporary Theatre Festival 2006 in Shanghai. His local performance works in 2006 includes Divine Soap (Cake Theatre) for National Museum grand opening, Pulau (Stages) in Substation, Trash (Dramabox) for Esplanade Theatre Studio Season, and A Stranger At Home for 2006 Singapore Arts Festival.

Some of his other notable acting credits includes Impenjarament for 2005 Singapore Arts Festival, TKK that was awarded Singapore Life! Theatre Awards ‘Best Ensemble Performance', and two monologues - Teochew Porridge for the Arts House and The Coffin Is Too Big For The Hole for 2005 Pesta Drama Festival in Malaysia. In 2004, Peter was dramaturg, assistant director and performer for Bedhaya Layar Cheng Ho, an Indonesian intercultural dance drama project performed at the Indonesian Dance Festival 2004 in Jakarta and Mangunegaran Royal Palace, Surakarta. Besides performing, Peter is also a drama teacher and currently teaches for National University of Singapore Centre For The Arts Chinese Drama Group, as well as many local distinguished junior colleges and secondary schools.
