PR4196 - Conducting and Communicating Pharmacy Research (Embedded)

Designed for Final Year Pharmacy students, PR4196 is a module that aims to equip students with the skills needed to (1) write their research proposal and Final Year Research Report, (2) prepare and present an e-poster, and (3) prepare and give a formal oral presentation of their research work.

In this module, students have the opportunity to explore and become familiar with the style and conventions of academic writing and presenting in their own discipline. In addition, the differences between written and oral discourse are investigated, with a focus on presenting pharmacy-related research material to specialist audiences.
