You will assist the Admin Manager, PIs and Directors in Finance, Procurement
and Research Grant related matters for the Institute.
Your scope of work will include:
- management of research grants from pre-award to
post-award stage,
- financial reporting of department’s accounts,
- assist Admin Manager in budget planning and tracking of expenditure,
- accounts payable duties,
- processing of staff, visitors and Directors’ claims,
- tendering (procurement) process from call to payment stage,
- assist in supervision of Finance MAO,
- other finance duties (pCard allocation etc.).
In addition to the above, you will undertake other ad-hoc duties as
assigned.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accountancy or
equivalent

At least 2 years of working experience in Finance and
Research Grants Management

Knowledge in GeBIZ and SAP systems will be beneficial
-
Proficient in MS Office applications
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Meticulous, possess positive attitude and ability to
relate well with all levels of staff

Team player
