Associate Director/Senior Manager (HR/Finance/Gen Admin) Faculty of Law

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Handle matters relating to finance and accounting in the faculty
  2. Handle matters relating to appointment and re-appointment of Academic Staff
  3. Handle Annual Performance Review process for Academic Staff and Non-Academic Staff
  4. Administer leave matters
  5. Provide administrative support to:
  • Faculty Conference Committee
  • Faculty Search Committee
  • Faculty Promotion & Tenure Committee
  1. Administer consultation work scheme, conflict of interest declarations, peer reviews, long service awards and other general matters relating to human resource in the faculty
  2. Coordinate with CDTL training for new academic staff
  3. Handle recruitment of non-academic staff
  4. Supervise and assess non-academic staff in Finance/HR/General Administration
  5. Approve Vacation Leave for Non-Academic Staff
  6. Prepare half-yearly reports for OHR/Office of Provost: Sabbatical & Visiting Appointments
  7. Oversee general administration


Requirements
:

The ideal candidate must be a degree holder with at least 6-10 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Excel applications (experience in SAP systems would be an advantage)
  • Good administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous and efficient in processing deadline sensitive documentations
  • Willing to learn and adapt to new processes and guidelines quickly
  • Good analytical, writing, communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with a high degree of stress tolerance.
     

Remuneration will depend on your experience and qualifications.
