You will be a member of the Strategies and Development team that spearheads IT strategic planning, IT Governance, innovation and staff development. You will be a member of the Strategies and Development team that spearheads IT strategic planning, IT Governance, innovation and staff development. You will function as a Senior Project Manager who undertakes tasks related to Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) exercise. You are responsible for developing/maintaining a common Project Management Framework and promoting its adoption. You are also required to mentor and coach junior project managers, and provide consultancy and quality review services to improve the quality of project management in Computer Centre and IT Units.

HPC Specialist Computer Centre

To drive and expand the use of HPC technologies and resources to enable effective and competitive research computation in Biomedical/Bioinformatics research. You will also help to develop and support research data management services.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Application implementation and support - provide technical support for existing Biomedical/Bioinformatics applications such as Autodock, BLAST, Amber, NAMD, Gromacs and HMMER, and explore/implement new applications
  • HPC Bio Portal development and support - work with the developer to keep the Bio Portal up-to-date. The Portal provides a web interface to some Biomedical related applications
