National Awards

NATIONAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AWARDS 2004

A NUS faculty member was among the recipients of Singapore’s highest honour for contributions to advancing the nation’s science and technological frontiers. His achievement is in keeping with the strategic build-up of NUS research strengths to support the nation’s development.

Dr NG HUCK HUI (Faculty of Science) received the Young Scientist Award for his research on gene regulation.

Two faculty members were accorded the nation’s highest accolade to promising leaders whose achievements and contributions to society are an inspiration to others. They are:
