The Hon Sui Sen Memorial Library was officially opened by the first Deputy Prime Minister, Mr Goh Chok Tong, in January.
Achievements
The world's first successful microinjection pregnancy was carried out by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology using a technique called Micro-Insemination Sperm Transfer (Mist). This technique allowed men with extremely low sperm count to father their own children.
