TDP students in Computing are a special bunch of students who like challenges and thrive to overcome them. They enjoy multiple avenues for leadership development - some of these include:

Academic Excellence

• more challenging and stimulating modules to build solid foundation in the early semesters.
• opportunity for independent study to reinforce independence and to sharpen critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Technical Excellence

• early opportunities for independent research work done in collaboration with experienced researchers.
• encouragement to take the Accelerated Masters Programme.

Leadership Excellence

• opportunities and support for leadership experiences and roles. Some of these include: Drafting the annual TDP (Computing) work plan, organizing talks and short courses for fellow students, organizing special interest groups and publishing their own newsletters.
• opportunities to network with other student leaders, and leaders from industry and academia.

Broad Exposure and Individual Programme
TDP students also enjoy greater flexibility in their undergraduate study to facilitate broader exposure and pursuit of individual goals. TDP students can therefore plan their own unique, individualized programme of study that best allows them to pursue their individual aspiration in academics, research, and/or career.
