Students are normally admitted into the TDP in the first semester in their first year of study. Students are identified for the TDP based on their high school or junior college academic performance, evidence of an inquiring and creative mind, their leadership potential and strong extra curricular record.

Outstanding students currently studying in the NUS may be considered for the TDP. Application for admission should be submitted to the Dean of the Faculty.
