About the Course

The aim of this course is to introduce the MEAW treatment concept and technique comprehensively. 2. Significance of the 2nd and 3rd molar extraction in the orthodontic treatment.
  3. Hints and thoughts for the application of the MEAW technique in daily orthodontic practice.
  4. Treatment procedure and case presentation with MEAW treatment concept - Class I, Class II, Class III, Open bite and Asymmetry cases - all treated without surgery.
  5. Analysis and discussion about results of treatment utilizing this method.
  6. Discussion on retention - in search for better system and method.

Participants will also be exposed to MEAW bending and application practice during the course.

Each participant is to bring the following items to the course:

  1. Weingart plier X 1 pair
  2. Tweed Rectangular Arch Forming pliers X 2 pairs
  3. Distal end cutter X 1 pair
