About UIF
Under the National Framework for Innovation and Enterprise (NFIE), an Innovation Fund was established in each university in Singapore to supplement the universities' internal funding for innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
In May 2009, NUS was awarded by National Research Foundation (NRF) $9 million over five years under the University Innovation Fund (UIF) to support approved activities relating to innovation and enterprise
Faculty Working Committee
The Faculty Working Committee (FWC) was formed to oversee and implement several of the NRF UIF supported programmes. The committee comprises representatives from the various faculties across NUS as follows:
